Who We Are

Halgart completed a Diploma of Dental technology at the university of technology in Durban, South Africa in 1993 and then obtained the Higher Diploma in Dental Technology in 1994 at the same institution.
Halgart worked as a dental technician in South Africa where he was fortunate enough to be mentored by two prosthodontists (Dr. P. K. Mouton; Dr. Cules van den Heever) and was involved in beta testing certain implant components for Southern Implants South Africa. He decided to immigrate, with his family (wife and daughter), in 2008 and made Perth his new home.
Halgart gained employment sponsorship through Pearl Healthcare in WA and was quickly promoted to Laboratory manager. In 2010 (the same year his son was born) Halgart was invited to join DNA Kingston training as a lecturer in Dental Technology and completed a Cert IV in Training and Assessment. In 2011 Halgart was promoted to Head of department Dental Technology, where, apart from everyday lecturing, he became an integral part of ensuring the course content and course delivery was current, up to date and compliant.
In 2014 Halgart acquired PJ dental laboratory and decided to go “back to the bench”. He was very fortunate to work closely with the team of dentists at MI Dental where he was able to witness the lifechanging experience patients have when they receive a new smile, this added fuel to a fire and he decided to make a career change and became a Dental Prosthetist by completing his Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dental Technology (with distinction) at the University of Otago, thus he became the person with the  responsibility and passion for creating your beautiful smile.  
Halgart lives locally in Quinns Rocks, and all dentures are made by himself on premisses at the Clinic in Alkimos.
